You know, you donโt have to spend thousands of hours online to find the best vegan haircare products. Why? Because Iโve already done it for you.
With the beauty industry moving towards cleaner, greener, eco-friendlier, and more sustainable formulas, itโs only logical to follow the example and set new standards in terms of our hair as well. I know, I know. There are too many products, too many of them promise great results and good ingredients, but how many of them are trustworthy? Surprise! Not that many.
Itโs 2022 and even though #badhairday became a trend a couple of years ago, breakage, thinning, and an unhealthy overall appearance certainly donโt help with the #goodvibesonly philosophy.
This is why you need to always look and opt for clean haircare products. To do so, pay attention to the label and run away if you see sulfates and parabens written on it. Hair products just have to do the work without doing any harm or damage. After all, you are a smart person who knows that some chemical compounds are bad not only for your hair but for your body and general well-being.
Without further ado, let me slip in my non-existent beauty expert shoes and tell you all about these seven vegan hair products that I personally adore. Thanksgiving may be far away, but youโll be thankful for each and every one of them. Itโs a promise.
7 VEGAN HAIRCARE PRODUCTS THAT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A HAIR-AD:
1. MARIA NILLA Structure Repair Shampoo
Maria Nilla is my ultimate favorite vegan haircare brand. You wonโt hear it from me often, but I swear by their products. I’ve been using them for over 3 years now and can confirm they are vegan, cruelty, sulfate, and silicone-free. Climate-friendly too! Can you name many hair brands that tick all of these boxes?!
If I had to choose just one personal pick of mine, it would be the Structure Repair Shampoo. Itโs undoubtedly one of the best vegan haircare products out there. Alongside the loving scents of Vanilla, Rose, and Jasmine, my hair feels clean, soft, and I can feel that it gets healthier and healthier over time.
Especially considering that I dyed it blonde last year. Now Iโm back to the brunette side and planning to stay this way. Itโs true that not every color will suit you. Unless youโre Billie Eilish.
2. OLAPLEX Shampoo and Conditioner Bundle
Although Maria Nilla may be my best vegan shampoo and conditioner, this brand comes very close. Olaplex is suitable for all hairstyles. This power couple (sorry, not Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds) is what you need on a bad hair day.
The shampooโs nourishing formula cleanses the hair without stripping its essential moisture. Meanwhile, it prevents fading and leaves it strong and clean. The kind of healthy look youโve always wanted. The conditioner comes in as the perfect teammate to provide intensive moisture and will leave it so soft, that youโll definitely want to do one of those slow-motion reels.
And Iโll most certainly be one of the first to like it. Just send me a DM. Iโm @savinaofficial on Instagram. But you already know that, right?

3. OLAPLEX Moisture Mask
Iโm pretty sure you are a proud owner of some face masks. Let me remind you that they shall be an essential part of your vegan hair care routine as well. Simply because they can offer the deep conditioning we all need, especially if talking about damaged hair.
In my opinion, Olaplex undoubtedly ranks high in the list of the best vegan hair care brands. Using bond-building technology (sounds fancy, and so are the results), this mask works on all hair types and treats a wide range of problems like chemical processes, styling, brushing, and exposure to harsh environments. Without being an expert, you already know that this leaves your hair dry, dull, unmanageable, and just not looking good at all.
FYI, a dozen of A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Drew Barrymore are fans.
4. AVEDA Botanical Repair Strengthening Shampoo
Is your hair dry? Stressed? Always dirty or greasy? Always dirty AND greasy? If you answered with a YES to at least one of the questions, then this vegan shampoo is what you need.
AVEDAโs Botanical Repair Strengthening Shampoo clears your scalp of unwanted sebum and external pollution so that you don’t have to worry about it. Ever again. Made of 94% naturally derived ingredients, itโs a great choice, not only for your beauty routine but also for your sustainable POV.
Try it and then tangle up your hair in a high ponytail (Ariana Grande style) so everyone can see and enjoy the final result.
5. Pacifica Rosemary Detox Scalp Scrub
Pacifica is both an organic vegan hair care and cruelty free vegan hair care brand, so letโs applaud them for trying and actually doing better than many others out there.
We do not pay attention to the scalp itself (change this RN), at least most of the time, and that’s one of the main reasons why we could look like a Disney villain and not like a Disney princess. Really. It’s like being devoted to skincare and skipping hydration.
The brandโs Rosemary Detox Scalp Scrub revitalizes hair with a soothing yet exfoliating texture that contains sea salt, rosemary, charcoal, and jojoba. Plus, youโll finally believe that luxury vegan hair care doesnโt have to cost you your life savings.

6. K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask
Alright, this is another product I use religiously. Having K18’s hair mask on your shelf with vegan hair care products means that you can forget the conditioner and the regular mask, and just use this one AFTER your hair is washed. You donโt need to rinse it. Just put it on, wait for 4 minutes and style your hair as youโd usually do.
This beauty magically restored the structure of my hair and reverted it to its natural state, the way it was before dying it blonde. All I can say is that my hair feels and LOOKS stronger, softer, and smoother after using it. So much so that even my boyfriend could tell the difference, and he is not someone whoโd normally notice stuff like this.
I could go on and on, and on, and on, but one word is more than enough. Impressive, folks. Itโs impressive. And yes, there are vegan hair products for curly hair too.
7. AVEDA Sun Care Protective Hair Veil
SPF is a MUST. No matter if itโs summer and over 100 degrees, or itโs winter, and you havenโt left the house for, like, 12 days. Now that we know (read: confirmed) this rule, let’s talk about hair.
While throwing essentials in your beach bag, donโt forget the AVEDA Sun Care Protective Hair Veil. This lightweight, water-resistant UV mist protects hair from sun exposure for up to sixteen hours.
I donโt want to sound too scary, but no one wants to deal with color fading, dryness, and other invisible types of damage. Especially when we can prevent it with a formula, featuring an anti-oxidizing blend of green tea extract, certified organic sunflower seed oil, vitamin E, and a bunch of other amazing ingredients. More on the benefits of natural hair care here. Remember to reapply after swimming. Flip your hair and just have fun. Yes, it can, and it should be that easy!
