The Fall is upon us, and you’re putting together your fall capsule wardrobe. Where do you go to find out which core items you’ll need to cultivate a stunning collection? Here, of course! You know you can always count on me to provide the absolute best capsule wardrobe fall can bring.

If you’ve read the post from last year’s autumn wardrobe essentials then you’ll already be quite up-to-date. We aim for long-lasting, timeless pieces to go in our capsules, so it makes sense that there will be items that stay on the list year after year. However, as time progresses, so do our styling habits. So there are a few different pieces you may spot.

As well as timeless, we want comfortable, stylish, and versatile items. It is quite a challenge to find new things that meet all the criteria. Here at SBS, the hard work has been done for you. As the days begin to shorten and the temperatures start to dip, we get ready to add some layers and update our outfits but still have a great time. Some of your closet from last season will make it over to this part of the year, so you might be wondering what’s new.

The good news is that whether you are returning for another year of autumn wardrobe inspiration, or completely new here and wanting to create your own fall capsule wardrobe, everything is here for you to get what you need. It’s a good idea to take notes. Here is your autumn capsule wardrobe 2023.

This fall, you can be sure that I will be wearing my beloved vegan Dr. Martens boots very often. They’re waterproof, durable, and look incredible. It’s great to see that vegan leather products like this can be made so well. It’s the way forward. I recommend you add them to your fall 2023 capsule wardrobe, too.

20. Chunky Sneakers  

If I’m not wearing the boots above, then I’ll probably be wearing my VEJAs. I never knew what it truly meant to have comfortable sneakers until I got these. Style and comfort are both maxed out with this pair. There’s no hesitation about what to step into when I’m heading out the door. These can always be relied on.

No single item makes the outfit. They have to work together. Start with the basics: black jeans, a pair of classic jeans in a dark wash, and perhaps some skinny jeans if you’re feeling adventurous.
