Oh, Paris, Paris… I’ve always thought that people exaggerate, when talking about you. “Which is your favorite city? – Paris, of course.”, “Which is the most beautiful city in the world? – Oh, my Gosh, you asked me what?! Have you ever been in Paris?”, etc.
But now, as much as I hate to admit it, if I want to be honest, I guess, I have to agree with them. There is something really special in that city. And no, I don’t mean the stores on Champs-Elysées or the iron Eiffel Tower, I mean, there is somethig magical in the atmosphere there. The streets, the architecture and even the people, everything makes you feel like you’re taking a walk, diagonally, in a parallel reality.
Don’t get me wrong, I was really impressed when I first saw the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, The Arc de Triomphe, etc., but what impressed me much more was that Paris leaves an undescribably sweet taste in your mouth (and in your mind).

Ох, Париж, Париж… винаги съм си мислела, че хората преувеличават ужасно, когато започнат да говорят за теб. “Кой е любимият ти град? – Париж, естествено.”, “Кой е най-красивият град на света? – Боже мой, какво ме попита току-що?! Бил ли си някога в Париж?” и т.н.
Но сега, колкото и да ми е неприятно да го призная, ако искам да бъда честна, предполагам, че трябва да се съглася с горепосочените коментари.
Има нещо наистина специално в този град. И не, не визирам магазините на Шанз-Елизе или желязната Айфелова кула, намирам нещо магическо в самата атмосфера на града. Улиците, архитектурата, дори хората, всичко оставя сякаш в теб усещането за безвремие и нереалност. Все едно се разхождаш, диагонално, в паралелна реалност.
Не ме разбирайте погрешно, бях безкрайно впечатлена, когато погледът ми за първи път попадна на Айфеловата кула, на огромната стъклена пирамида, на Триумфалната арка и на още безброй други забележителности, но това, което ме очарова с пъти по-силно, както вече споменах, бе чувството, което градът запечатва в теб.
Това са малка част от впечатленията, които придобих и снимките, които направих през първия ми ден в града на любовта. Очаквайте скоро и втората част, от втория ми ден в Париж.

You are right: when I was in Paris for the very first time, it felt really strange. Because you know all these photos of the louvre or the eiffel tower, bt if you get there it feels so unreal. Strange city 🙂

Paris is a city of brilliance and glamour. But if you go unprepared you an lose your mind . i lived there for 2 years and i saw many guys including Bulgarians who go crazy cos they can not handle its grandeur.
