I seriously can’t believe that is autumn already. I mean, how has summer gone so quickly? It might be just me but it feels like summer goes by faster and faster every year. (Don’t you even dare to comment stuff like “that is because you get older”, okay!!).
Anyway, if I’ve learned one lesson lately, its ‘don’t get upset with stuff that happened in the past and just move on as you can’t do anything about it.’ So, here I am, taking a sip from my coconut latte, swallowing (oh, it burnt my tongue a little!), and moving on with my most stylish step to the fall season.
There are not many things that I love when it comes to autumn and you probably already know this, if you’ve been following my blog for awhile. (Yes, I literally complain around this time every year about how much I hate this season aha.) But there is something I have to admit I really like. And it’s how my style changes (compared to summer) from literally zero to hero.
It’s true that you can be bold and try to mix and match garments in order to look fab in the summer too, but c’mon, my friend, can you actually be bothered improvising with outfits when you’re sweating like a pig and all you can think about is the beach, mojitos and ice-cream. I surely can’t.
So thank God autumn exists so I can pull out of the closet all of my creativity and inner fashion power together, and walk them on the streets like a real fashionista. I’ve missed posing in front of the camera so much!
Right, let’s now get to the topic of this post. I am still discovering my top colours for this season, but khaki and black are surely some of them! When it comes to must-haves, turtleneck jumpers, chunky ankle boots, and culottes are a definite. Ohh, if you’ve been following me since the begging, I know that you know “what I did last summer”. For those of you who don’t, I am talking about, well, a few years ago I dedicated a whole blog post on the fact how much I hate culottes and how they shall go to the “what NOT to wear” list immediately, but hey! Can I have a second chance, please? Things change, fashion changes and surely my taste does too. So, here is the moral – don’t ever say “never” in the social medias, especially if you’re a fashion/style blogger, cause the minute you change your mind about it (and I bet you will!) the fashion police will come and get you!
You can find links to everything I wear at the bottom of this post.
Have a lovely Wednesday, my savvy fashionistas!
